With Maya you can upgrade your house to be smart without investing lots of money in expensive brands. You can reuse the electronics you already have.

Time Programs - set your daily routines in a customizable time programs. For instance you can order your board to turn on and turn off periodically lights to scare off thieves.

Scenes - be spontaneous and activate actions which end up automatically after delay that you set.

Manual Control - works as a switch. Activate or deactivate pins according to your wish. For PWM pins percentage value is supported.
Go to the Play Store and download the latest Maya app for Android.
Yes, the core functionality of the app is free of charge. However, there are some limitations and pro features which can be unlocked by buying a subscription.

You will never be charged without your clear consent.
Maya app works on Android smartphones, the minimum supported OS version is Android 5.0 (lollipop).

iOS support is planned to be done later.
Internet access - in order to synchronize your data, collect logs and analytics.

Location access - android operating system requires this permission when you try to scan for available bluetooth devices.

Bluetooth access - when you are connecting to the board over bluetooth this permission must be granted to the app.
Open Maya app, on the starting screen choose I already configured a board. Let’s connect to it. The app will ask to enable bluetooth and you are ready to start the connection.
Time programs are your daily routines executed during the week.

For instance you can create a time program on Monday starting from 06:00, which lasts until 18:00 and turns a pin on your board to which you can connect your heating or any other device (your imagination is the limit). This means, your house or flat will be warm on Mondays between 06:00 - 18:00 and for the rest of days it will be cold.

Of course you are not limited to just Mondays, you can set the same time programs for the whole week or for individual days, whatever you’ll find appropriate for your use case :-)

However, in the app you don’t specify which pins are activated / deactivated directly by your time programs. In order to save space in EEPROM memory of your board, the app introduces a concept of actions. You can read more about them here.
Manual control enables you to put board pins into a state that you want. Digital pins can be either high or low (on or off). Digital PWM (pulse module width) pins offer a percentage value. They can be on for 30% or any other value you’d like from range 0 - 100%.
Scenes are spontaneous actions invoked for a certain duration of time. For instance, you can activate a fan for 30 minutes. After this time, the fan will stop and it won't launch again until you activate the scene again.
Actions are reusable commands that define what happens in the board. An action is built from steps. Each step tells the board to set a certain state to one of your pins. For instance A10 to 50%. This way, a single action can control multiple pins at the same time.
Actions can be used either from time programs or scenes.

Time Programs - when you select an action, it will be executed when the time program is active.

Scenes - when you select an action, it will be executed when the scene is active. After the scene is finished, the action won’t be executed.
Real time clock is needed in case you want to run time programs or scenes. Both features rely on time settings, therefore the board must know what is the current time. Real time clock, like any clock - provides this information.
For the time being Arduino Uno is supported. Plans are to provide support for more boards in the future.
In order to setup your account you open the app, navigate to the Profile tab, click Log in. You can sign up either by providing email / password or use identity providers such as Google or Facebook.

After successful login your data will be synchronized with our servers, therefore you won’t lose it when you uninstall the application.
